EMILY, THE HOLIDAY MAKER
Emily's design journey started with quick sketches in my spare moments. Her hair became a focal point, with a distinctive 'bun' providing recognizable head shape and strands by her ears adding to her beauty. In crafting her costume, the goal was to reflect Emily's confidence and glamour. The attire was carefully chosen to allow for both style and functionality, ensuring she could embrace activities with physicality.
TESTING THE DESIGN
Upon settling on Emily's final design, I progressed to the next stage by animating tests. These explorations delved into her facial expressions and physical performance, providing valuable insights into her anatomy and ensuring her design translates seamlessly into hand-drawn 2D animation.
