HM: We were approached by Palm Deaf BSL Training, based in Broadstairs, Kent, to produce a series of social media reels. Each reel had own unique purpose to promote Palm Deaf's services.​​​
Meet The Team & 5 Reasons To Learn BSL
Respectively, these two reels introduce the tutoring team at Palm Deaf and demonstrate the reasons why new potential new students should learn BSL. Illustrations were designed in Toon Boom Harmony while the written graphics and textured details completed in Adobe After Effects.
Father's Day 2024
To coincide with Father's Day, I animated a short reel where Jon, the head tutor at Palm Dead, wishes the viewer a Happy Father's Day in BSL.
In contrast to previous projects, this reel required building a rigged 2D character in Adobe Animate. Toon Boom Harmony was create every limb, hand gesture and mouth shapes required for this reel. Adobe Animate was used to connect each component so that they would be synchronised during the animation stage. As the previous reels, Adobe After Effects was used to add texture and typeface to the final render.
