Honest and incidental film making, based in the UK.
Here at Super Animate, we shoot on real 8mm, an analogue format with grainy texture and dreamlike tones, for those who seek storytelling rich in nostalgia and tactility.
Our 8mm film-making can be paired with traditional 2D animation techniques, layering in typography or characterful motifs to tell your story.
BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
Super Animate offers brands a tactile alternative to polished digital. We shoot on genuine 8mm, capturing your product, space or story with the grain and warmth the format is known for, then pair it with 2D animation where it adds something: typography, motifs, characterful detail. The result is social and web content with a distinct analogue signature, made to stand out in a feed of the same.

PERSONAL PROJECTS
For weddings, engagements and the occasions worth keeping properly, we shoot on 8mm for its soft, unhurried, nostalgic quality. If you'd like, we can layer in hand-drawn animation and typography to make the finished film unmistakably yours. Something closer to a keepsake than a video.
